I’ve never smelled Jo Malone, but if this is an indication of what it smells like, l’m sold. I love this citrus kind of smell, immediately hits you the moment you open the top, very inviting, strong scent I absolutely can’t get enough of, highly recommend purchasing for those who want an excellent smell of citrus/cypress as soon as you open the box.
I have been a Jo Malone enthusiast since my older sister introduced me in 2010. In partial to the citrus and floral scents like lavender and Fressia, and my absolute favorite Lime Basil and Mandarin. That’s why I chose this scent. It does not disappoint. The notes of grapefruit are both vibrant and soft. It lasts all day long like all of my eternal oils. I can’t wait until it’s in my everyday rotation.
To begin, I must admit that I do not have Jo Malone, Cypress and Grapevine for comparison. However, I can confidently assert that this fragrance is not necessary. It stands alone and is exceptionally well-crafted. If you are an enthusiast of earthy and spicy scents, then this fragrance is precisely for you. The cypress component possesses woody, fresh, and aromatic notes that harmoniously blend with grapevine, creating a sensual woody accord. An unexpected combination of natural cedarwood and vetiver, complemented by warm amber and juicy grape notes, make this fragrance truly unique.
