Usually I don't like buying anything scented unless I can actually smell it first. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Amber Confusion is a nice woodsy citrus just full of complexity and not overwhelming. Suits my taste well. I got lemon zest as well and its notes smell intense but when on the skin they become softer and almost floral and sweet in a spiced pear kind of way. I was given free samples of ocean mint and exor as well and ocean mint is fresh and clean like cool water and herbal like the mint that is on the end note. The exor is so similar to invictus and how it makes me feel. Overall, I will be ordering more soon. I'm in love. I've been looking for good quality perfume oils for years because normal spray perfumes dry my skin and irritate.
The scent is good but not an everyday wear for me. It smells like something my Gran would wear to church. More of a traditional perfume that you’d leave on your dresser for years and wear every once in a while. It’s smells powdery and heavily of Jasmine. I’m not getting any citrus or Amber scents.
There is nothing confusing here but how to get my husband off my back when I wear this. I get stopped every time I wear it and I will be giving it out for BDay
The first initial sniff reminds me of my abeulita's "Skin so Soft" by Avon. The nostalgia of it made me cry, because she has been gone for 14 years. But on myself,this isn't my favorite upon first application. But, after the dry down, it is beautiful amd rich. It is long lasting . I love the musk in it. Not too strong or masculine, but not too sweet either.
